"Every cloud has a silver lining." Perfectly encapsulates what I felt after penning my thoughts down that day. After a long time, I felt an involuntary smile creep across my face, reminiscent of the ones that would show up on my baby-ish features, as I poured my thoughts and stories for my mom to read. I finally felt proud of myself, felt the urge to pat my own back, after what feels like ages. Moments like these make you realize that you are truly never lost, just derailed from the path you were on, and a small gust of wind or an invisible tug from nature is enough to bring you back on track, a track that leads you to home, your haven where you truly flourish, and belong. For me, that gust of wind has always been my sweet mother, whom I also owe the idea of this blog to. Seeing her eyes brown and shimmering like two drops of black coffee under golden sunlight dilate with wonder as she rejoiced in my determination to write again made me feel warm, warmer than any summer aft...
